Endless table
Aart van Asseldonk | 2018
The Endless table was designed in 2018 by Aart van Asseldonk. The table clearly shows Aart’s love for robust materials and craftsmanship. The distinctive design in combination with the many possibilities in dimensions, table tops and materials make the Endless table extremely suitable as a conference table, luxury table in reception areas or as an eye-catcher in the dining area.

Aart van Asseldonk in the De Ploeg factory in Bergeijk
The inspiration for the design comes from the details in the De Ploeg factory, designed in 1958 by Gerrit Rietveld. In 2017 Aart renovated the interior of the De Ploeg’s factory. The robust design complements Rietveld’s clear lines in the building. The constructions of the glass facade, the structure of the walls and the complete transparency that crosses the building were therefore the starting points for the design of the Endless table. The simple industrial construction of the table makes it endlessly extendable. Apart from the elongated version, there is also a round version of the Endless table.

The Endless table has a matt black epoxy frame (RAL 9005). The table top can be made of glass (clear or smoked) or wood. The wooden table top can be made of solid wenge, oak or American walnut. The table top is normally elongated with rounded corners, and other shapes (such as oval) are also available on request.
