Carolina Wilcke

FURNITURE DESIGNER AND GOLDSMITH: A STRONG COMBINATION

Carolina Wilcke (1980) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. In her own studio she focuses on design products, interior design and limited designs. Her designs are shown in galleries all over the world and have been incorporated by various furniture brands.

Carolina Wilcke not only graduated from the Design Academy but also has a background as a goldsmith, which shows in her Tangled series for Spectrum. The refined details and the well thought-out construction of the designs show Carolina’s eye for detail and perfection in her completion. The series consists of a coffee table, cabinet (with tray), show case and a side table.

Carolina’s work is pure, modernist and architectural. The search for the perfect aesthetic proportions is reflected in the characteristic clear formal language of her designs. Graphic lines, elegance and functionality are what makes her work distinctive.
