Tangled coffee table
Carolina Wilcke | 2015
The Tangled coffee table was designed by Carolina Wilcke in 2015. Carolina, who was trained as a goldsmith, sees architecture and art as an important source of inspiration. This is clearly reflected in the construction and the refined details in the frame. By experimenting with steel profiles and shape constructions, Carolina designed two interlocking volumes that together form a new shape. The full width of the small part of the coffee table can be wheeled, making it a very dynamic table where accessories can be placed over three tableaus.

The Tangled coffee table can be fitted with clear glass or smoked glass. For the middle and/or lower level you can also pick a dark smoked oak veneer top. In addition, a cushion can be made on the mid-level, transforming the coffee table into a bench and side table in one. The epoxy steel frame is available in black (RAL 9005) and taupe (RAL 7006).

The Tangled series by Carolina Wilcke for Spectrum consists of this coffee table and the Square coffee table, a cabinet, a show case and a side table. There is also a Tangled tray available that fits perfectly on the top tableau of the coffee table in terms of design and dimensions. The tray also has a black epoxy frame and can be provided with a dark stained oak veneer.
