Tangled side table

The Tangled side table was designed in 2016 by Carolina Wilcke as part of the Tangled series. Next to this table this series consists of a cabinet, a coffee table, Square coffee table and a show case. Carolina takes inspiration for these designs from the steelwork in old industrial buildings. By experimenting with steel profiles and constructions, two interlocking volumes were created that together form a new shape. The fact that Carolina was trained not only as a designer, but also as a goldsmith, can be seen in the refined details and graphic lines of her designs.

The slim frame of the Tangled side table consists of two volumes of solid square steel, black (RAL 9005) or taupe (RAL 7006) epoxied. In the frame there are three levels of glass tableaus, which can be made of clear glass or smoked glass.
